Flavour options:
We offer a range of delicious flavours to suit every palate, from classic vanilla and chocolate to more lighter tropical profiles like passionfruit, mango & coconut. Our fillings include silky Italian meringue buttercream, rich chocolate ganache, textured ganache with nuts and/ or biscuit crumble, fruit curds, gelées, crèmes and preserves. We are passionate about pairing the perfect combination of flavours to create a cake that represents our couples and is as delicious as it is beautiful.
Ingredients and quality:
We take great pride in using only the finest ingredients and traditional techniques to create our cakes. Our artisanal approach ensures that each cake is a work of art, carefully crafted to exceed your expectations in every way. We source our ingredients locally whenever possible and from around the world, including Madagascar vanilla beans, and Cacao Barry or Callebaut Belgian chocolate, to ensure that every bite is an indulgent experience.

We invite you to sample our signature flavours and fillings and discuss your design preferences with us. Our goal is to make the process of choosing your wedding cake as enjoyable as possible, and we love sharing our passion for baking with you.

Smcd is committed to supplying you with a deliciously good tasting cake. We offer a variety of options for you to sample our cakes and ensure they are exactly what you want and need!
Wedding cake consultations
SMCD is operating exclusively online. We find that the vast majority of cakes can be successfully discussed and organised via text, email and if necessary over the phone.
We require at least 60 days notice for most wedding cake bookings. Having said this, if your date is less than two months away, please get in touch as we may be able to accommodate your request.
