All cancellations must be done by email to email@example.com
In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable. At the discretion of management and dependent on the circumstances, a credit note* or full refund may be issued less an administration fee** of $50 and $25 for orders under $210. Please note that the administration fee is not a credit and cannot be used towards an order.
Cancellations within 14 days of the delivery or collection date. In any event, there will be no credits or refunds issued and you will lose any deposits or full amounts paid. Any credits or refunds given are at the sole discretion of management.
* Credit Note Conditions. All credit notes are valid for 12 months from the original booking date. At least 30 days notice is required to book a new date and is strictly subject to availability. If there is no availability on your chosen date, no refunds will be given. You may use your credit note on another available date.
**Administration fee. This is the set cost of the administration work generated by your order. It covers the following tasks which unfortunately cannot be refunded in any event: communication time, quotations beyond the first generic quote, invoicing, all bookkeeping and accounting entries originated, processing refunds or rescheduled dates (rearranging work schedule & updating customer data – storage & maintenance).
How does the refund process work?
If you wish to change or cancel your cake booking, please keep in mind that we may not be able to meet your request. If we have started working on your order and your date has been affected by a lockdown mandate, any work or special custom items purchased will be deducted from your refund or credit note. In any case the $50 or $25 admin fee will also be discounted from any refunds requested.
Please know that we are doing our best to support you in this challenging situation.
We handle all refunds or change requests in the order we receive them and the expected handling time is longer than usual due to the pandemic and the increased volume. We are doing our very best to assist you as quickly as possible.
Current refund processing times are 4-8 weeks.
You will receive an email when your change or refund has been processed and we ask you to wait for such further information via email before contacting us.
What are your cakes made of?
Layer cakes – All our cakes are filled and covered in Italian meringue buttercream plus other delicious fillings depending on your choice of cake flavour from our menu. On occasions we also use chocolate ganache to cover our cakes. And very rarely, we use fondant icing on layer cakes.
Novelty sculpted cakes – Our novelty cakes are only offered in Belgian chocolate mud cake and are filled and covered in chocolate ganache, followed by a layer of fondant icing or modelling chocolate.
Hand sculpted cake toppers and other edible decorations are made using a variety of edible products, including fondant, tempered chocolate, modelling chocolate and pastillage.
Do you sell undecorated cakes?
Our florist has quoted us for the cake flowers. Can you use these?
We are more than happy to style the cake using your own flowers for a fee. We will work with your florist and have them supply the florals for the cake. For best results, all florals must be supplied to us fresh and in water prior to the event whenever possible. We are also happy to style your cake onsite, this will incur a time onsite fee in addition to the styling fee.

Custom cakes start from $250 regardless of size.
We create customised cakes. This means that there is no set price for any given cake. Pricing is subject to size, decorative options, and complexity of design. CONTACT US to discuss your specific event and cake/ dessert catering requirements for a personalised quote.
As a general guide:
- single tier (tall) average $250 – $350
- two tier average $500 – $650
- three tier from $750
- four tier from $1000
Do you deliver?
Yes. We deliver to most suburbs in the melbourne metropolitan area for a fee.
Delivery within Croydon is currently free of charge.
Delivery within our frequent delivery routes in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne will cost less than if we deliver to areas outside of these routes on an exclusive basis.
Unfortunately, We currently do not have a delivery service to the western suburbs of Melbourne.
Can I pick up my cake?
Yes. We currently offer contactless pick up from our premises in Croydon. Please refer to our T&C’s regarding transporting your own cake.
How do I store & serve my cake?
Store your cake at room temperature or in the fridge.
Your cake is very firm when cold. Please serve cake at room temperature (20–22 °C) for best texture and flavour.
If your event is in the evening and your cake is decorated with fresh flowers, please store in the fridge. Bring your refrigerated cake out at least 2 hours before serving and let sit at room temperature (20–22 °C).
Our cakes do not contain any preservatives. Once your cake is cut, it should be served and consumed immediately. Any leftover portions of cake should be tightly wrapped and stored in an airtight container. Cut cake begins to dry out very quickly.
Can I taste my cake before I buy?
Yes. We offer cake tasting boxes. Available for pick up or shipping towards the end of every month.
Cake samples will not be posted during the warmer months of the year.
If the date of your event is less than a month away and you would still like to sample our cakes, we strongly recommend you secure your date with a deposit to avoid disappointment.
Ordering a sample box or requesting a quote does not secure your date.
I like this cake. Can you make it exactly the same?
We do not copy designs from a picture. Whether it is a picture from our gallery or one that you have found online or have drawn yourself.
What we will do is work with you to create your dream cake, so that all the elements you love are incorporated using our creative style, work methods and techniques.
Can I make a tentative booking?
Unfortunately, we do not hold any dates without a deposit.
Wedding Cake Consultations
We are operating exclusively online. We find that the vast majority of cakes can be successfully discussed and organised via email and if necessary over the phone.
We require at least 60 days notice for most wedding cake bookings. Having said this, if your date is less than two months away, please get in touch as we may be able to accomodate your request
